How I bake them

  1. Mix the dough — butter, sugars, eggs, flour, and chocolate come together into a rich dough.
  2. Overnight rest — the dough chills in the fridge so flavors develop and the texture becomes chewier.
  3. Portion & bake — I scoop each cookie by hand and bake until the edges are set and golden.
  4. Cool & pack — cookies cool completely before packing so they don't get soggy.
